Oaxaca alternative
PUERTO ANGELITO
Its sand is fine, white and with little slope. The water is temperate, transparent with shades of green and blue, shallow and calm waves. Because of its characteristics it has been considered as a natural swimming pool recommended for swimming and snorkeling.
The weekends and vacation periods are frequented by a large number of visitors, due to the tranquility that prevails here. It has restaurant service, equipment rental for snorkeling, hammocks and parasols. It is an ideal place to practice free diving as well as Playa Manzanillo and Carrizalillo beach.
These sites present optimal conditions for the practice of this sport; They exhibit quite transparency, shallow depth, calm swell and temperate temperature.
There are beautiful underwater landscapes, mainly made up of the marine flora and fauna and the rocky and sandy bottom.
There is rent of equipment for free diving and you can hire the boat service to make trips through the different beaches of Puerto Escondido or to practice any other water sport.

CARRIZALILLO
Carrizalillo is a small bay with an extension not more than 300 meters to which you can only reach by foot. Fortunately, there is no access to motor vehicles and it is reached via a steep slope. The descent to the beach is by stone stairs, newly built.
The beach is generally gentle waves. However, the part that opens to the open sea, generates waves in tube that attract the surfers, mainly to those that initiate or that desire simpler results.
Another attraction is snorkeling. The bay is surrounded in the east and west, by a cliff of rocks that serve as habitat for many varieties of fish and coral.
Except for a service of chalets for rent, there are no hotels still in the upper part of the bay; Only a fractionation still under construction: the "Carrizalillo" subdivision.
On the other hand, the beach allows to sunbathe in "top-less", particularly in the high season, which runs from November to February.
The beach is located in the eastern part of Puerto Escondido, only 15 minutes walking from the center and 5 minutes from the “Bacocho"
